Cover Reveal: Titan in Chains (Broken Heroes One)

I'm on a super crazy writing roll right now. The new book in my new series, Titan in Chains (Broken Heroes One) (formally Darkvale, but that was sort of vague), is two-thirds of the way done. I'm pretty sure it's going to be three books long with the same two main characters through all three books. Does that turn anyone off? I just think this story is too big to tell in one book, but I'm not going to leave off with major cliffhangers or no HFN ending. The finale will be HEA.

I hope you guys enjoy reading about Calder King (aka Titan) and Patrick Black (aka Apprentice) as much as I'm enjoying writing them. It's sort of like writing shifters, but instead of turning into animals they put on Kevlar and punch things. Mostly each other since their alter-egos are enemies when they first meet. Also, they're roommates in college, because that's always fun.

Later this week I'll post a sneak peek from the book. For now, enjoy the cover. ^_^

  1. Hell no! I LOVE that. When a book series is about the same character for a while. I really wish more series/books were like that... it's a shame that some people...publishers??... (?) think that's a no sell or something... I as an obsessed reader, don't agree with that assessment.
ANYWAYS! I am so anxious to get/start it! *A*

    1. I know what you mean as a reader and as a writer. I think some readers only want new couples with each book, but I want to dig in and get to know everyone better. I wanted to do that with several of my books (but I haven't because I don't have time!) With these two I can't wrap everything up in one book at all. Three books is gonna be tough. . .

  2. I like it when a series focuses on the same characters, too. Also, from what you've revealed so far, it seems like a good, interesting story. Roommates is always fun. And with the alter-ego thing, plus being roommates, it kinda reminds me of Sukisho (which is a good thing). Can't wait to read it!

    1. Yay! Thanks for your input. ^_^ I can't believe I haven't done a roommates story yet - it *is* a whole lot of fun. And I totally forgot about Sukisho. I saw the OVA years ago and never remembered what it was called. Hooray for yaoi!
